Roof replacement Removed old tiles. Fitted new membrane and replacement fixing timbers., 3000 new tiles and over 100 ridge tiles, two loft windows, sun tunnel. Replaced all the soffit boards, guttering and down pipes. They also removed the top half of the chimney. Everything we asked for. A superb very professional job. They don't take money up front and don't spend half the day on the phone! Thank you Matt and Pete your efforts are very much appreciated. Many people have commented on how much better this place now looks.

If you want professional, experienced, friendly and trustworthy tradesmen with morals, standards and values, look no further than Matt and Pete. I had no idea what i needed doing and thought i was in for a hefty and expensive job. i explained the problem i was experiencing and asked many questions, Matt was thorough in his investigations and answered all my questions asking me why i was looking for problems that weren't there, but in no way shape or form in a condescending manner, just one that gave me confidence that they were only going to do the job required and nothing more. The completed job was nothing short of marvellous. The owners of the adjoining property were so impressed they too will be recommending Duchess also.

The scaffolding company they used were quick, tidy, efficient, and fitted a very complex scaffold above a glass veranda running the width of the 3-story town house. Living in Saltash we were already aware of Duchess Roofing's reputation. We live in a terraced house with a complex roof that needed complete replacement. It was a big job and we were understandably anxious that it was done well.
From the first time we met Matt, he put us at ease. He explained in detail the process of constructing the roof and the steps involved. We received a detailed quote discussing all our options.
Having decided to go ahead, Matt and Pete arrived and started work when we had agreed. Their professionalism and motivation was immediately apparent. Each step was undertaken with care and skill. Our property threw up a few surprises as we were warned it might. These were each dealt with carefully after a full discussion with us. The final result is a beautiful roof which is completely secure and clearly shows good workmanship. They treated our home as though it were their own and put great care into the details.
Matt and Pete were a pleasure to have around. They were thoughtful and considerate of us as homeowners and left the site completely clean when work was complete. We really couldn't have hoped for better. We'd recommend them wholeheartedly and have them back to work for us again without hesitation.
